Zahra has been in legal practice for over 5 years and qualified as a Solicitor in June 2023.
She specialises Family Law but has wider experience in other areas of private client law such as Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate.
Zahra frequently deals with Family Law Act Proceedings, whereby Non Molestation and/or Occupation Orders are required. She particularly enjoys acting for parents in private children proceedings and helping them reach a resolution without court proceedings where possible.
Zahra is a confident and adept advocate and deals with many Court hearings.
Zahra is also multilingual and can speak fluent Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu which ensures her multilingual skills are utilised to the benefit of Laker Legal clients.
Zahra is supervised by John Hirst and works closely with the rest of the family law team.
