Sarah joined us in March 2019 with a first class law degree and an LLM masters in Legal Practice. Sarah has since qualified as a Solicitor.
Sarah’s legal career has seen her gain experience in family law matters including divorce, financial settlements and private children proceedings along with other work involving Wills, Probate and Intestacy matters and Civil Litigation.
Sarah is frequently instructed in estate matters with complex inheritance tax calculations and she works with clients to ensure that inheritance tax is mitigated where appropriate. Sarah receives excellent feedback in this area of law for her efficient, caring and sensitive approach to clients and their families.
Over Sarah`s career, she has amassed vast experience of Will drafting and is now quite the expert. Sarah also prepares Lasting Powers of Attorney documents and advises clients accordingly.
Sarah is developing a particular interest in resolving contentious Probate & Estate matters and has gained considerable experience in this area under the supervision of John Hirst. Sarah, and the firm, adhere to the ACPTAS code of conduct which focuses on the resolution of these difficult and complex cases in a constructive, time sensitive and cost effective way.
