We’re excited to announce that a team from Laker Legal Solicitors will be taking part in St John’s Hospice’s 50-50-500 Charity Challenge on 10th May 2025. As part of this challenge, we will be competing in the Hospice Hike, a 15km walk through some of the beautiful landscapes of North Lancashire and the South Lakes, where we’ll work together as a team to complete the route as quickly as possible. We’ll be navigating with a map, locating checkpoints along the way, and pushing ourselves to the finish line to support this fantastic local cause.
St John’s Hospice provides free palliative care to individuals with life-shortening conditions. Their services are vital for the local community, covering an area with over 250,000 people in North Lancashire, South Lakes, and parts of North Yorkshire. The hospice has been caring for individuals and their families since 1986, offering compassionate support every minute of every day. Whether it’s pain relief, emotional support, or practical help, their dedicated team ensures that people can live their final days with dignity, comfort, and love.
This year, we’ve set ourselves the goal of raising much-needed funds to help ensure St John’s Hospice can continue to provide their exceptional care for years to come. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a significant difference to those who need it most. We’re determined to push ourselves to the finish line and make this challenge one to remember for both our team and the patients who benefit from the hospice’s care.
